![]() The Snipping Tool being replaced has also stopped the PrtSc button from working. ![]() Microsoft has discontinued the use of the Snipping Tool in recent versions of Windows 10 and replaced it with the Snip & Sketch Tool. Clicking the Save icon (a floppy disk) will bring up the Save As windows where you can select the save location and give the screenshot a file name. You can also save the screenshot as a file by clicking the notification at the lower right corner.You can now paste the screenshot into the document by pressing the CTRL + V keys at the same time or by right-clicking in the document and selecting Paste in the context menu. Microsoft has allotted the keys Windows Key + Shift + S that will launch Snip and Sketch on Windows 11 (and Windows 10 if installed).A notification will appear at the lower right corner of the screen saying that the screenshot has been saved to the clipboard. ![]()
